Let’s have Prosperity with God
The journey to Prosperity in the Way, the Truth & the Life
Today I want to talk about prosperity and in particular prosperity with God. Because God is so rich in being. I believe we can find true prosperity in Him. But what does that really mean.
Here I will be sharing some nice scriptures out of the bible that helped me a lot in my journey to Prosperity in Life. Let’s have a closer look to that.
His will, His plans
Did you know that when you were formed in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). God already had a plan made especially just for you. Ofcourse babies are made with a male and female person. But what makes it so special is the spirit that God gives that little baby in the making. Every person is made with a special plan for his/her life. There are no mistakes. God does not make mistakes. There can be surprises and unplanned situations. But even then there is a plan, a purpose. With me being unplanned and a surprise baby, I am living proof.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
So one thing that I find most interesting is finding that special plan for your life. That is what I call the journey. And to make it more Lady Prosperity-like: the journey to prosperity in life. Pursuit His plan for your life and you will live a purpose filled life.
Now I do understand that this can be a challenge sometimes. To find out who you are. What & who your true authentic self really is. But let’s go a little further in that journey together.
Walk together
God always wants to walk alongside with us. Help us guide through life. Through rough times, through difficult decisions. But also to enjoy life together. In doing so it is very helpful to involve Him in every aspect of your life.
Make your plans known to Him.
Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance].
Proverbs 16:3
But besides involving God into your life and work. The bible says He is always there where you are. At times it may not feel like it.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9
His visions vs. Your visions
And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.
Habakkuk 2:2
But what does this really mean. First of all. God can give us visions. Great and wonderful ideas. When you get those ideas. It is a good thing to write it down. Back in the days when the bible was written. They had tables to do that on. Can you imagine? Something like stond and something pointy to carve the visions. Nowadays I use my own tablet. Or let’s say.. iPad. But to write down you can use whatever you find helpful. Some use a journal, while others write their wonderful ideas, visions and things that come to mind on paper or their phone.
When doing that, the bible says that he who reads it, may run with it. Now when we read other translations. You will read that he who reads is the runner. Somebody reads your vision and makes it happen. Now who could that possibly be. Well did you know that God has an army of angels who work for us on His behalf.
Also by writing down, you can also come back and re-read it. So you remember the direction you were going to.
Where there is no vision, the people perish; but he that keepeth the law, happy is he
Proverbs 29:18
Now there’s that vision again. To have a vision is to have a purpose. A direction to go to. The road to prosperity which makes happy.
What is true Prosperity
To have a vision is prosperity in itself. But I started this blogpost with God having a plan for your life. A plan to prosper. So He holds your perfect plan in hands. You only need to ask Him for it.
When you align your life to His plans. You will get to step into a deeper level of purpose. That what God made you to do. The greatness that He has placed in you. To reach people who needs that what you walk with.
Prayer time
But how do we get to get the visions of God. That comes to prayer time. The time you set aside to have conversations with God. Because I already mentioned He is always there where you are. You can make sure that when you call upon Him, He is there. And He will answer.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you
Matthew 7:7 NIV
Sit somewhere without any distractions. With no phone, no one around. Just you and God. Ask and see what wonderful things will come to mind. And don’t forget to write them down. 😉 Enjoy your special moments with Him.
